Jazz will not turn your kid into a criminal

Jazz has grown up. According to a new study in the journal Pediatrics  the music genre you know as jazz is no longer turning kids into juvenile delinquents. So it seems as though jazz has redeamed itself. It started as a rabble rousin', hard drinkin', drug takin', ne'er do well but jazz has grown into an upstanding musical citizen. Isn't that great?

The study points out music genres that do seem to have an effect on the way kids might lean towards unsavoury activities such as sex, drugs and crime: heavy metal, rap and electronica. Jazz is considered high brow music now. Lah-dee dah.
