And so it begins.

The book you see here, changed my life. More about that in a moment.

I'm no stranger to the world of Facebook, the internet or being in the media but starting this blog is still daunting. You know... there's the usual concerns like "What am I going to talk about?" or "Will I be relevant?" but, like everything in life I'm just going to jump in with both feet and see what happens. But that's what I do. I jump into things with both feet. I recognize that in myself and celebrate it. So when I think about starting a blog, it makes sense that I would jump in with both feet.

If you were to blog about strengths what would your approach be? We both know that there are a number of differences between you and me. I jump into things like this because of my strengths. You are different. But that's why I decided to start this blog. We are certainly all different from one another but the one thing we all share in common is that we were all born with strengths.

Every single person on earth was born with strengths. Yet how many of us actually know what our strengths are? Can you name yours? Sadly, the majority of people in the world can't and it's because of that fact that I decided to start this blog and to speak about strengths around the world.

The book you see at the top of this post changed my life. As a result, I really don't feel like I work for a living. Instead, I concentrate on simply.... living. StrengthsFinder 2.0 is a book that allows people to discover their strengths and like many other readers of the book, I discovered mine.

Make sure you head over to my personal website so you can grab a copy of my new e-book, I Don't Work and You Can Too. I'm looking forward to a great conversation about strengths with you.
